I have one flowers once never again
Hi, Thanks for watching. It sounds like you're describing a plant that bloomed only once and then didn't flower again. Some plants, particularly certain species of climbing flowers, have specific blooming cycles or conditions that need to be met for them to flower again. Factors like sunlight, pruning, feeding, and the plant's age can all influence its flowering pattern. If you're trying to encourage more blooms, understanding the specific needs of your plant and providing appropriate care could help.
Where do you buy those bags or what is the name?
Those are Smart Pots and they are great!!! Different sizes available and affordable price. They are sold at garden centers and online

Do you dry Orlaya?
Hi Tracey, Yes you can dry, bundle, and hang Orlaya grandiflora
I just recently picked up a landline haven’t had one since 2001 but I heard that landlines stay on even after the power goes out so great for emergencies
Exactly they do! That's great!
❤👍
I'm all for helping the environment, but, I don't like using rubber mulch, or, old car tires.
That's understandable! Rubber mulch made from old car tires isn't everyone's first choice.
Great info! Side note: was a man filming this? Because the camera zoomed in on your cleavage and not the nodes so I couldn't see what you were talking about. 🫣😂
Sorry about that! But thanks for watching.
I have something that looks like the creeping weed. It actually went in between the house exterior/interior and came inside the house my means of the window sill. I dont know how to remove it, any ideas? thanks
Hi, Thanks for watching. To remove the creeping weed that has invaded your house through the window sill: Identify the Plant: Determine the type of weed to choose the best removal method. You can take a photo and use a plant ID app or website to identify it. Remove Visible Growth: Pull out the plant inside the house with gloves. Trim and Dispose: Cut back outdoor growth near the window sill and dispose of clippings in the trash. Seal Entry Points: Inspect and seal any gaps around the window sill to prevent re-entry. Prevent Future Growth: Use ground cover or barriers around your house to discourage weed growth.
I received anamaryllis two years ago which was glued to a wood slice. After the flowers were gone I thought I would just throw it away. My son suggested cutting it from the wood and planting it. I did cut it from wood and removed as much as possible of the glue. The leaves have grown huge. No flowers yet but have seen a few things on UA-cam to try to see if I can get flowers.
Hi Trudy, To encourage your amaryllis to flower, follow these steps: Light: Provide 6-8 hours of indirect sunlight daily. Temperature: Keep in 65-75°F during growth. Watering: Water when the top inch of soil is dry; avoid waterlogging. Fertilization: Use a balanced fertilizer at half strength during spring and summer. Dormancy: After leaves wither, store the bulb in a cool, dark place for 8-10 weeks. Pot Size: Use a pot with 1-2 inches of space around the bulb. Patience: It may take time to rebloom after being forced. Consistent care will help.
@@EdenMakers Thank you so much for the information. I certainly will use it❣

Yes! They are common in Hawaii! Thanks for watching!
I had no idea thank you for telling me that. I am housebound and disabled so I really appreciate that. I just found your channel and I am so excited to learn all of your tips and tricks to flowers and other health tips. Do you use the sleeves that I've seen out. If so do they work?
Thanks so much for commenting!! I’m familiar with the sunblock sleeves but haven’t used them. They do Sound convenient especially on hot days! Use them and take them Off!!
Please put the instructions at the top of the video so that I can read them. All the words at the bottom and arrows cover them up.
Hi Tanya, Sorry to hear you cannot see the instructions. Here they are: 1. Tie the bundle of flowers tightly with cotton or natural string (rubber bands slip when flowers dry & shrink). 2. Space flower bundles for good air circulation and faster drying. 3. Don't put into direct sunlight. It will bleach the flower color. 4. When flowers are dry, spray with hairspray to preserve them.
I wish the words, and arrows didn't cover the instructions.

Is there something else you can spray them with besides hairspray? I hate how shiny it makes them
You can use floral spray from the craft shop

How much water should i water these considering it being placed in a roofed balcony, tropical humid climate, 90 degree sunlight?
Great question! Watering a prickly pear cactus under the conditions you described-on a roofed balcony in a tropical humid climate with indirect but intense sunlight-requires balancing the plant's need for moisture with its drought-tolerant nature. Here's a guideline to help you: Frequency: Water every 2-3 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Ensure the soil is completely dry before watering again. Amount: Water until it drains out of the pot's bottom. Spring and Summer: Water every 2-3 weeks, checking soil moisture first. Fall and Winter: Water once a month or less, depending on soil moisture and humidity. Roofed Balcony: Monitor soil moisture as there's no rain exposure. High Humidity: Reduce watering frequency due to longer soil moisture retention. Indirect Intense Sunlight: Ensure sufficient light but avoid excessive direct sun.

I have a plumeria. It’s only an 18” to “20” stem. Looks like leaves are starting to come out - but I don’t see flowers. Bowel I get flowers and how to I get it to branch out?
Hi, Thanks for your question. To encourage your plumeria to flower and branch out, follow these tips: Encouraging Flowers Sunlight: Ensure 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Watering: Water deeply but allow soil to dry between waterings. Fertilizing: Use a high-phosphorus fertilizer (e.g., 10-30-10) during the growing season. Temperature: Keep temperatures above 60°F (15°C). Soil: Use well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix. Encouraging Branching Pruning: Cut the stem back to 12-15 inches to stimulate branching. Pinching: Pinch off growing tips to encourage side shoots. Growth Hormones: Apply growth hormones to pruning cuts if desired.
Where do you get the bark??
You can find Orchid bark at your local garden center or online.

Tie flowers with what kind of string? Some words were blocked.
Hi! Thanks for watching. You will want to tie them with cotton or a natural string because rubber bands will shrink and slip off as the plant dries.
What will happen if I spray nothing at the end ?

How much the temperature of the boiling water should be?
Hi, When propagating canna lily seeds, you should soak the seeds in boiling water for about 12 to 24 hours before planting. The temperature of the boiling water should be around 100°C (212°F) initially, which is the standard boiling point of water at sea level. However, you don't need to maintain the temperature at 100°C for the entire soaking period. The seeds should be placed in the hot water and left to cool gradually, which helps to soften the hard seed coat and promotes germination. Here are the steps for propagating canna lily seeds using boiling water: Boil Water: Boil water to 100°C (212°F). Soak Seeds: Place the seeds in the boiling water. After placing the seeds, you can remove the water from the heat source. Soak Time: Let the seeds soak in the hot water as it cools down, typically for 12 to 24 hours. Planting: After soaking, plant the seeds in a suitable growing medium. This method of soaking seeds in hot water helps to break down the seed coat, making it easier for the seeds to germinate.
Thank you so much for your kind reply 🥰🥰🥰

I’ve read recently that cicadas can potentially damage roses, lilacs & forsythia.
Thanks for watching and your question. There is a POTENTIAL for damage to these plants if they are immature or newly planted. The primary impact on plants occurs during the egg-laying process, where female cicadas cut slits into the twigs and branches of woody plants to deposit their eggs, Mature plants are more resilient than young or newly planted plants. In this case, there can be minor damage and some twig dieback
It's five years ahead. I'm ready to plant. I live in California. Your video is encouraging. I'm all excited.
